Soul of Caregiving: Writing and Guided Imagery for Insight and Wellness March 21, 2010 – 10:30am - 5:30pm A workshop for volunteer and professional cancer caregivers and caregivers for people with life-altering illnesses. *Explore the personal meaning and transformative potential of your caregiving experience. *Tap into creativity for reducing stress and enhancing life. *Learn tools for accessing inner wisdom to aid you in caregiving. *Identify resources for emotional and spiritual renewal and self-care. *Receive guidelines for creating a Transformational Well-Being Journal. Your facilitator, Susanne West, MA is a Professor of Psychology and teaches in the School of Education and Liberal Arts and School of Holistic Studies at John F. Kennedy University. She is formerly the Chair of the Department of Liberal Arts and is the recipient of the 2007 Harry L. Morrison Distinguished Teaching Award at JFKU. Susanne has been presenting psychospiritual development programs in community organizations and colleges for over 25 years. CEU’s for MFT’s LCSW’s and RN’s.
