Conscious Embodiment Workshop |
|
Date: |
Mondays, 02/22/10 - 03/15/10 |
Time: |
5:30 PM to 7:30 PM |
Description: |
The Conscious Embodiment model gives us a way to synchronize the energy of the body, speech and mind with emotions and intuition, thus increasing our capacity for somatic intelligence, discriminating wisdom and unconditional love. Discover how to increase your capacity for wisdom, confidence, and happiness that will help sustain and support you.
Through centering techniques known as Basic Practice, the body becomes our stable reference point. This allows us to contact the part of ourselves that is wise, kind and capable of powerful, embodied action. Training these principles strengthens our sense of self and deepens our capacity for relationship.
- Become aware of our habits and patterns in relationships
- Develop greater strength and gentleness
- Increase your capacity for dignity and generosity
- Learn how to listen and advocate from a non-reactive state
The Conscious Embodiment approach is taught with humor, patience and wisdom. You will learn tools and practices that will develop presence, confidence, and compassion as you deal with personal relationships and other areas in your life.
You will learn how to relate more effectively from your "centered self," a more stable reference point, rather than your "personality oriented” reactive self.
This 4-week workshop will take place February 22 - March 15, and will meet on Mondays from 5:30-7:30pm. Registration is required. Please call 415-331-6161.
